"Haints" Webseries Shoot at Ogilvie-Wiener House

"Haints" Webseries Shoot at Ogilvie-Wiener House
One of the neatest perks of this project, for me, is meeting folks who are interested in Texas Avenue. John Bryant and his wife Debbie are rescuing the old Olgilvie-Wiener House on Austin Place. It's just across from the Logan Mansion.

Last night John invited us to watch a webseries shoot at his new home. We sat on the steps of the Logan mansion and watched the action unfold. Haints is the name of the show. It's a project led by Audra Caitlyn Moss. She's using IndieGoGo to create a funding campaign to raise money for the series. Click on that link to see Ms. Moss in a short video that explains the project a little bit more. Mary Thoma, the owner of The Art and Soul of Acting is one of the actors involved.

  1. Known to more folks as the old Florentine Club. Ferrante and Teicher started there.....

  2. Thanks for sharing the information about Ferrante and Teicher. Interesting that couple of graduates of the Juilliard School of Music in New York would be performing in Shreveport. You'd be amazed how many of the younger generations remember it as a venue for bands. It was called Austin Place then. I think that is what is so unique about this home is that it's been so many different venues to so many generations of folks.
