The Logan Mansion was built in the late 1800's by a Shreveport beer/lumber baron. The woodwork is magnificent. The shutters are original to the house and a true work of art.

Glass Lamp Shade
On the Logan Mansion Christmas Tour. The night tour is just a bit spooky, and the lights add to the general paranormal feel of the place.

Ready to spend the night?
PHOTO BY KATHRYN USHER The yellow signs of movie making on location. The funny thing is if downtown Shreveport was so dangerous why do they only leave one security guard over night to watch movie making equipment worth thousands and thousands of dollars? , a photo by Kathryn Usher on Flickr.
Team TAMS will be out all night this Friday. The day after Thanksgiving 2011 we plan on staying on Texas Avenue overnight to roam around and document what happens in the dark. This will be our second overnight stay. The first was in August 2011.
I spotted these signs from a movie company yesterday while Nadine and I were looking around to see what was going on in the Texas Avenue neighborhoods. The movie company is in Shreveport shooting on location. Found the signs in the side lot next to Shreveport's Municipal Memorial Auditorium.
